This might be a good time to draw back from any plans to buy short sale properties or foreclosed homes and take a long, hard look at market conditions in your area. Depending on where you live, it could be that you'll be a buying a property that you won't be able to unload any time soon. You could stuck with a home or commercial property that's a colossal white elephant in the current market.
