The Advantage of The Short Sale Flip |

When it comes to real estate investing, doing a short sale flip might be a more profitable venture than the traditional way. The advantage of doing a short sale flip is the decreased competition in purchasing the targeted home. Unlike short sale flips, getting homes through auctions can be hard since there are a small number of homes that may qualify as a good investment. For either an auction purchase or short sale flip, you are looking for a home that you can buy at a minimum of fifty cents on the dollar. This provides enough padding for repairs, enhancements and a nice profit. The problem is that this is not a well kept secret and the competition on these homes is fierce. However, not every investor is aware of the short sale flip process and, from those that know about them, not many of them are adept at getting them done. This means, that if an investor finds a home that he can buy at fifty cents on the dollar or less, the best shot to snatch that house and flip for a profit is by doing a short sale flip. There will be other investors that will put bids on these short homes, but the chances of getting these homes is much better.
